For supported code instructions, rather than a game description.
Project code
Character: sprite "My name" using "Cat": — the first name is its label; using chooses the artwork. Scene: backdrop "Basketball 1". Type inside those quotes for library suggestions.
Start below a sprite heading with when green flag clicked, then type the next instruction on the line below. The button sets up the starting lines and places your cursor there.
Text uses Scratch block colours. Bold lines mark sprites, events and custom blocks; coloured guides show nesting. Tab indents code.
Project assets and settings
Preserved automatically when updating this project. Change artwork, costumes, sounds and starting positions in Scratch, then read the blocks again. Save the .sb3 to keep the complete project.
Text options
Variable layout
Positions use the stage’s 480 × 360 pixel layout. Counters are approximate previews; Scratch supplies their final appearance.
Scratch to Text shows readable code. Artwork, sounds and large map lists are reused from the open Scratch project when you rebuild. Save the .sb3 to keep everything.
